MEET YOUR COACH 

RACHEL WILKINSON

Level 2 Crossfit

I have been a part of CrossFit for over 6 years ago and grew up playing sport; participating in every sporting opportunity I could competitively and recreationally. 

I have been coaching for 5 years alongside working for the NHS as an Occupational Therapist. Both these roles allow me to support and enable people to achieve things they never thought they would and is something I am very passionate about.

Like many others, I have seen first-hand the devastating impact cancer can have on individuals and those around them. Supporting people to get moving and increase their fitness and strength is very important. The benefits it can have on someone’s physical and mental health and wellbeing is huge and I want to provide a supportive and community environment to allow as many people to access this as possible.

SAMANTHA HARRIS

 I have a real passion in supporting others to unlock their potential and start believing in themselves, so what better place to do it! I’ll be leading the way in ensuring this program is a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and willing to give it a try, regardless of background and ability, because we all know that we have to start somewhere!

I’m excited to create an environment that is everything that is ‘right’ about a fitness community, with a team of like-minded coaches and support services, and to pass on everything I’ve learned to whoever walks through those doors wanting to become a better version of themselves.

With a sporting background of rugby, cricket and martial arts, it was only natural for me to want to improve my fitness further.

I therefore went on to gain a degree in Sports Science and Coaching and have since studied further with Strength and Conditioning and Nutrition Coaching qualifications, as it became very apparent to me that I have a passion for coaching and guiding individuals towards their goals.

With all this knowledge and experience it’s only fitting that I would end up finding CrossFit, and it really does live up to all the hype. Now coaching the sport, I’m hoping to encourage as many people to follow down the CrossFit path as possible and realise how fitness can create an awesome community, while also improving your quality of life along the way.
