CROSSFIT BETTER TOGETHER

I have worked in hospital cancer medicine since graduating over thirty years ago so have seen first hand the benefits and side effects of cancer treatments. I am excited to be involved in the delivery of the Battle Cancer Program and having the opportunity to help improve the health and well being of cancer survivors outside of my usual working environment.

When I first found the courage to walk through the door at SOLV I was overweight, unfit and feeling rather old. With the help, encouragement and support of my coaches and the CrossFit community I am now healthier than I have ever been and my physical and mental health have improved significantly. I enjoyed CrossFit so much, I encouraged my family to join me and now train alongside my adult children. I am going to enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with others and repaying some of the kindness shown to me by helping to provide a supportive environment for individuals to improve their physical and mental health whilst enjoying the community spirit of training as a group.
